Proud Year 6 Children share ‘E Portfolios’

Our Learning

Our Year 6 students spent their last Wednesday at SSq presenting their well-prepared E-portfolios. At SSq, we believe the current assessment system is too narrow. To balance this, Year 6 students create and curate their own e-portfolios. These portfolios showcase a wide range of evidence for core subjects, as well as broader subjects, skills, and dispositions. This process empowers them to take ownership of their learning, boosts their self-confidence, and helps them reflect on what they have learned at SSq. It allows them to identify their strengths and showcase who they truly are. This year's event was special, with many dreams and aspirations shared before proud parents, carers, friends, and family. We look forward to seeing how you develop these portfolios in secondary school and beyond.
